Pakistan Rejects Afghan Claims of Airstrikes on Key Military Installations

The Afghan Ministry of Defense has claimed that its air force carried out strikes on key military sites inside Pakistan, including the Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, the 12 Corps Headquarters in Quetta, and the Khwazo Camp in Mohmand. According to the Afghan statement, the alleged operations were conducted in response to what Kabul described as Pakistani airspace violations over Kabul and Bagram, claiming heavy casualties and significant damage.

Pakistan Dismisses Allegations as Fabricated

However, Pakistani security sources have categorically rejected these claims, describing them as entirely baseless and fabricated. Officials state that no aerial attack occurred in any of the mentioned locations and that all air and ground defense installations remain fully secure and operational.

Authorities emphasized that no reports of damage or casualties have been received from any of the cited military facilities. Security officials further noted that such misinformation risks escalating tensions and undermining regional stability.

Call for Responsible Communication

Analysts warn that unverified military claims can inflame already sensitive cross-border dynamics. Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty while urging responsible communication to prevent unnecessary escalation.
