Afghanistan’s national volleyball team defeated Maldives 3-0 on Sunday in the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Championship in Tashkent.
This was the first victory for Afghanistan, which has played three matches in the tournament so far.
Their two losses came against Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Afghanistan will next face Tajikistan on Tuesday.
