UAE Rejects Use of Its Territory Against Iran

The United Arab Emirates has clearly stated its position on the Iran issue. In a statement issued on Monday, the UAE said it will not allow any attack against Iran to be launched from its land, airspace, or territorial waters. The government reaffirmed its commitment to neutrality and regional stability.

The statement followed remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump last week. He said an American naval fleet was moving toward the Gulf. He also said Washington was closely monitoring Iran. These comments raised concerns about possible escalation in the region.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the country will not become part of any hostile military action. Officials said the UAE seeks to reduce tensions, not fuel conflict. The statement reflected Abu Dhabi’s broader foreign policy, which prioritizes security, balance, and calm in the Gulf.

Emphasis on Diplomacy and De-escalation

The UAE also rejected any role in supporting military operations. It said it will not provide logistical assistance for attacks against Iran. This position stands despite the presence of thousands of U.S. troops at the Al Dhafra Air Base near Abu Dhabi, one of the main American military facilities in the region.

The foreign ministry said diplomacy remains the best path forward. It called for dialogue, de-escalation, and restraint. The statement urged all parties to follow international law and respect the sovereignty of states. UAE officials warned that military escalation would increase instability and harm regional security.

The statement concluded with a call for peaceful engagement. The UAE reaffirmed its commitment to political solutions and constructive dialogue. It said lasting stability in the Gulf depends on cooperation, mutual respect, and diplomatic engagement rather than confrontation.
