Pakistan has expressed deep sorrow over the recent attack on Iran and the reported martyrdom of Ali Khamenei, calling the developments deeply tragic and distressing. Officials stated that Pakistan stands in solidarity with Iran during this difficult time.
Islamabad has extended diplomatic and moral support to Tehran and has strongly condemned the attack at the United Nations, reaffirming its principled position against violations of sovereignty and regional destabilization.
At the same time, Pakistan’s leadership has appealed to religious parties and the general public to exercise patience and restraint. Authorities emphasized that while emotions are understandable, turning protests into violent unrest or taking the law into one’s own hands would only serve hostile agendas. Citizens have been urged to keep demonstrations peaceful and avoid any actions that could lead to internal instability or damage.
Officials stressed that national unity and stability remain Pakistan’s greatest strengths in times of regional crisis. Maintaining internal cohesion, they noted, is essential to safeguarding the country’s security and diplomatic standing.
