Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS and CDF, met in Abu Dhabi with His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser of the United Arab Emirates, in a high-level engagement aimed at reinforcing decades-long bilateral ties. The meeting reaffirmed the enduring strategic partnership between Pakistan and the UAE, reflecting converging interests in regional stability, economic collaboration, and security coordination.
Strategic Convergence and Regional Stability
During the discussions, both sides explored avenues to expand cooperation across key sectors, particularly economic collaboration, investment facilitation, and security coordination. The leaders exchanged views on evolving regional dynamics and underscored the importance of sustained leadership-level engagement to preserve stability and peace across the broader Middle Eastern and South Asian security landscape.
Officials described the interaction as a manifestation of exceptional mutual trust and longstanding fraternal relations between the two states. Field Marshal Munir expressed deep appreciation for the UAE’s longstanding investments and consistent support for Pakistan’s economic development and national security architecture.
