Hamas does not release official messages through anonymous or Taliban-affiliated online platforms, further discrediting the video’s authenticity.
Analysts note that this fabrication follows a familiar Taliban pattern of distortion and impersonation. By falsely invoking Hamas, Taliban propagandists seek to borrow legitimacy from the Palestinian cause while advancing their own extremist agenda. Such tactics rely on emotional manipulation and false attribution, but consistently collapse under basic verification. Pakistan’s participation in Board of Peace deliberations was solely aimed at supporting efforts to halt civilian killings in Gaza. It did not involve, nor will it ever involve, participation in any military or security arrangement, including the disarmament of Hamas. Claims suggesting otherwise are baseless propaganda.
Pakistan’s principled stance on Palestine remains clear and consistent: support for a two-state solution based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds as the capital of an independent Palestinian state. This position has been reiterated across diplomatic forums and remains unchanged despite disinformation campaigns.
Observers also point to the Taliban’s contradictory behavior, including public denunciations of external powers while benefiting from foreign financial flows, and signals of openness toward relations with Israel alongside close ties with India.
